I'm really happy to finally own this game! I know it's a repro, but honestly I could care less. It's a very high quality product and so far the game hasn't had any problems. Before this I impulsively bought a used Wild World at Gamestop for $35, and although I was happy to own the game, part of me wished to have a case as silly as it sounds. Then I found this product here and immediately returned the one I got at Gamestop! I'm excited to be able to play this and have been doing so everyday since it came in the mail :) It took a little longer than I expected but it was well worth the wait and the product came in great condition. Thank you so much !!

This game is simply THE GAME for the nintendo DS system, this is all the fun you would like jammed into a little cartridge. This game provides endless hours of entertainment, Very Addictive game. Plays almost like The Sims games. You control your characters life style from A-Z. This game is a must buy for a Ds owner. I myself was found playing this game very often and kept myself quite occupied. The Bottom Line for the game is that its a great game for kids and for people who enjoy stress free but fun games. And once again its addictive...but that's a very good thing Control - 4.5/5 Yous use the Stylus for the controls, this is very uniq, very smooth gameplay. Almost perfect for the control in this game Gameplay - 4.5/5 Game play is greate, its like the original for single player, but for multi, its GREAT!!! Graphics - 4/5 The graphics aren't too jaw dropping, but for the nintendo Ds they are pretty good. The games graphics are ok, the game has more to offer fromt he "gamepla" than the graphics Sound and Music - 4/5 The music is alot of the same, however the sound is greatRead full review
I picked up Animal Crossing Wild World since I was into the Harvest Moon series. It looked like it had a similar gameplay and the graphics were cute. I got addicted to it as soon as I played it and what makes it stand out is online play. With the DS Wifi you can interact with hundred of players willing to trade and tag along in multiplayer games such as fishing/bug contests, tag, scavenger hunts and etc. Trading items is a huge part of this game and I wouldn't be surpirsed that the hundreds of items available in this game will leave you going nuts to collect them all. The graphics is cute and pretty lively. Although it may seem blocky sometimes the graphics will still win you over. It fits right into the style of the game. The music score is on average but given a portable DS game i think its very well made. The game will basically get you hooked on trying to catch all the fish or bugs, completing your mueseum, furnishing your home and even upgrading it, i mean the list is endless. this game is probably one of the best DS games out there that also can be played with the stylus alone. easy and fun all at the same time. i highly recommend it to DS owners, so what are you guys standing there for? GOOOOO GET IT!Read full review
Animal Crossing first caught my eye on the GameCube and when I heard it was coming out on the DS I was very excited. Added bonus that it's release day was ON my birthday - thank you Nintendo. The fact that DS is Wi-Fi made the multiplayer much more accessable than having to borrow a friends memory card on the gamecube. The controls on the DS are very comfortable and natrual although it is a littler harder to pull weeds behind a tree than the gamecube version, but easier to compose letters to the townsfolk thanks to the touch screen. It will keep you entertained for quite a while since there are season and holiday specific events. Whatever you do... DON'T turn off the power before saving.
With its many activities, town-like atmosphere, and overall sense of social concept, Wild World brings plenty to the table. While the game is more of a pick up and play in short bursts type game, there is still plenty to enjoy. Whether it be collecting items, or decorating your own home, this game allows for some intuitive designs and stress free atmosphere. Animal Crossing Wild World is the perfect game to play after a long day of work or weeks of cramming for that midterm. Regardless of what stresses your life brings, you can lose yourself in the world of Animal Crossing, and for a minute you will enter a world that feels like paradise. Even with some of its issues, it is hard not to recommend a game with such a unique approach to life. Pros + An enriched atmosphere + Plenty of furniture to decorate your home + Meeting new friends + Earning money to pay off mortgage and other necessities. + Pleasant soundtrack + Art design + Stress free atmosphere Cons - Town is a bit small - Not a kind of game where you can play for a long period of timeRead full review
Animal Crossing has a major strength and weakness. The strength is this is there are no goals to the game, no levels to attain, no pricesses to rescue. You and/or your friends set the agenda. This also is the weakness. In the beginning you must get established in your community. You will need the Official DS Guide. The enclosed instruction booklet is not of much help. I was drawn to this game because it was more family oriented than the SIMS. There is not so much obsession/maintenance with bodily functions. Whether you are 6 or 600 you can enjoy this game. Like other Nintendo games (Nintendogs) there are treasures to find and contests to enter. Only if you want to though. What I didn't like was the fact that you have to buy the Official Guide ($10-$14 depending where you go) to navigate. The instruction booklet was not helpful.Read full review
I bought this for my son because it had great reviews. He loves playing simulation games where he cares for a pet or an island on Facebook, so I wanted something for his DS that he could play in the car. He was excited when he got it, but that excitement quickly disappeared when we spent the first 15 minutes setting the game up and reading screen after screen after screen of "background" story. Seriously? I've read from other reviews that kids as young as 4-5 are playing this game but I don't know how when it's nothing but reading and answering questions for so long. Maybe it gets better after a bit, but my son lost interest after the lack of game play and hasn't touched it again.
It's a little awkward trying to explain why animal crossing is so good. It's not a game, but a character living his/her life. Time and seasons pass by in the game the same as in real life. You have neighbors you can talk to and different things you can do in your town. It's a very relaxed game that you just sink into.

It was amazing game to play with, it reminds me of new leaf but it has even more charm in my opinion, it's such a charming little game, I'm excited for NH and that game is gonna be the best one in the series yet

Arrived on time, in great condition. That aside, WOW what a classic, great little game. Thoroughly enjoying this Animal Crossing experience, compared to New Leaf - the villagers are actually pretty mean sometimes and that thrills me. In the new games everyone is way too nice.
