    Great phone system

    Sold our 2 line phone system when we no longer needed it. Almost the same by ATT and in 2 line configuration. This Uniden has some great features - IE put all of your contacts into one phone and then transfer the whole lot (or some of them if you prefer) to you other hand sets. No need to do each one individually. Listen to your messages from any phone. Base has a very small footprint and is very easy to use. No BS to delete messages for instance. Push the Envelope symbol to listen and the delete button twice to delete. Speaker phone on each handset is nice and clear and very handy. Nice small easy to manage handsets. Instructions written so you can actually understand them, not like some Chinese that was translated to English and is almost impossible to understand. Great phone

    started off strong, junk in the end

    i've never used uniden before but my at*t phone system had the volume on the side of the handset and every time i used it, i'd change the volume. so, i got this one and gave it a shot. it was well constructed and charged up quickly. initially, i thought i found a great phone system. however, when using it i'd cut out quite frequently. it was like a late 80s cell connection where you only caught maybe the vowles of a converation, at it's worst. there were times if you held your head just right, you could get 70-75% of your converation understood with minimal repeating of yourself. the kicker came when i called in to do a radio interview/band promotion (something i do a lot of) and upon playback, it made me sound muted and it also cut out a lot. so while i did like some of the features ...

    uniden cordless phones TRU9280

    I replaced my old uniden 4 phone system because my kids finally managed to destroy two of the handsets. It was less expensive to buy a new set than replace the old handsets. We were very happy with the original so we decided to stick with Uniden. Some differences 1. 5.8 GHz which Ive been told will work better around computers and appliances (no problems so far) 2.does not have individual banners for each hand set just numbers, not a big deal but: "PHONE 1 KITCHEN", was a lot easier to remember when using the phone to phone intercom system 3. phones are slimmer and lighter; the potential for "DEATH BY DROPPING" is much higher especially if your kids are butterfingers like mine. Shop around the price for this set varies quite a bit. I got it at ebay for about $70 everything incl. All in all ...

    Great Phone

    I chose this one in part to the fact that my spouse liked the size as compaired to our old one. I like the call transfer feature and that it can also be utilized for an intercom. The non external antenna is nice and the reception is good. I haven't found any dislikes about this model. I stayed with the Uniden brand because compaired with a few of the other brands that I have had in the past, (Panasonic & AT&T) Uniden has better quality.

    Uniden TRU9280-4 5.8 GHz Quad 1-Line Cordless Phone

    The features in the set of Uniden Phone are Great. The signal that the main phone throws out is very week and does injustice to the all the great features. I have a one floor home and if you are not near the main unit the phones break up and you cannot hear a conversation. It's breaks up continuously and to be frank I had to buy another unit that works perfect for my home I replaced it with V-Tech Superior quality in all aspects with the same features. I really don't recommend Uniden Models for their poor workmanship and quality.
