Bought this GoPro Hero 7 White model from seller that probably runs ok though have not yet powered it up. Instead was immediately puzzled by a lack of battery compartment access. Beforehand had carefully looked up the GoPro Hero 7 product information that showed it uses the same removable battery as my GoPro Hero 8. I expected the 3 model colors, black, silver, and white were the same as most products using the same product name are. But what I did not know until now is the Hero 7 White is a different build that does not use a removable battery and rather requires is internal charging via an USB charging port. That makes this unit rather unusable for skiing use since the small batteries run out quickly especially in cold ambient temperatures. $105 wasted. Will probably smash it with a hammer and order another. Not the fault of the eBay owner but rather GoPro for creating a product with the same model number with only a different color in it's title and this person for not being thorough enough!Read full review
