    Small and handy.

    Handy little tool. It's fun to use and cuts quickly through small branches.The safety switch is a little awkwardly located and it's tricky to coordinate the fingers when pulling the trigger and holding the safety switch at the same time, but I think I'll get better at it with practice. I tried it with a 6v battery and it feels light and well balanced.

    Ryobi 8" 18V cordless chainsaaw

    My ratings deal with my experience as a home gardener without much experience except that I have a number of chainsaws (gas, electric and cordless) in different lengths (10", 14", and 16"). This cordless 8" pruning chainsaw is an average saw with a protective tip. The Ryobi 8" cordless pole saw seems to be the same type of pruning saw with more power to prune branches, etc. In a sense the pole saw gives me more value and seems to be sturdier than the 8" pruning chainsaw. The major advantage of this pruning saw over other brands for me is that the 18V battery is interchangeable with the suite of Ryobi tools which I can appreciate. I can use the battery for my trimmer, blower, etc All in all, I rate this product as an average tool that I will go to when cutting smaller branches and ...

    Mini chain saw

    Works for my needs cutting up fallen tree branches and trimming low branches. But the instructions say not to use it while standing on a ladder and not to cut limbs above chest level. I didn’t. It had plenty of power to cut through a 2 to 3 inch branch and made a smooth, clean cut. I am happy to have it.
