    PEN PLAX Cascade 500

    After cleaning & resealing an older oceanic 27 gallon hex I could not find a hang on back filter to fit the wider rim of this tank so I decided to get another inexpensive canister filter. I already have a Cascade 700 & am happy with it, so I purchased the 500 for the 27 hex. Up & running for a month & no problems. Water is crystal clear. Price on EBAY is a lot less than in the pet stores.

    Very poor filtration

    This item really is A Small very poor quality manufacturing it hardly filters the 30’gallon tank and does not meet the filtration volume as advertise. I suggest consider another filter this is NOT A PROFESSIONAL FILTER IIS A BEGINNER AQUARIA TUPE ! DONT THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY !
