My main camera is a Nikon D200 digital SLR. The Nikon has been wonderful, except . . . it is bulky. I have missed many pictures because I had no camera--cell phones all have crap for cameras. The Fujifilm camera has been great. I take it along wherever I go--especially nice when we go for a walk on our local greenway. It's light, fairly high quality and very easy to use. The price was right and I have been very happy with it so far.
Takes great jpegs. Does not take raw images. Great for quick pocket camera.

A very intuitively easy camera to operate! The 16 MP and 15X Zoom, along with the CMOS image sensor (rather than the lower tech CCD sensor) make this a great bargain in the $300 "point and shoot" camera field.
Very nice camera, It is the greatest camera I have ever had the pleasure to use. I am extremly satisfied with it. If I zoom in to take a picture and after I take the picture, I can still zoom in further and crop it. Very high quality pictures.
I LOVE my camera. The quality is great! Perfect cross between a pro and point and shoot. Perfect for those that want a light weight camera and for people who want high quality pictures.
