This jacket was manufactured in December of 1950 and looks like it came from the factory last week. The only reason that I'm interested in this item is that, truly, I have NEVER seen a uniform where the tailor had simply sewn a later, larger patch over the earlier insignia. Bizarre to say the least and totally fascinating. Oh, and the selling price of less than $2.00 had something to do with it as well. Except for the shipping costs I am totally pleased.
