The updates helped the game, but fundamentally its still an open world ubisoft game. The usual wide space but not much life, checklist objectives and of course inconsistant A.I. What hurts the game is that it has to follow up after Wildlands, which in many ways feels worse than Wildlands. I'd recommend anyone to play that game instead. One example is that this game is entirely ONLINE only, if for whatever reason internet is down or ubisoft has maintenance, you cannot play this game in any way possible. It very much feels like an free to play game, right down to the awful UI and menus. This version of the game has a nice steelbook, it looks very cool but gosh does it attract fingerprint because its so glossy.

This might be an older game but I'm playing it for the first time and it's absolutely amazing. Love the concept of being able to pick my own missions or simply following the story line.
