Product Information

Created with historical accuracy in mind, Medal of Honor: Vanguard follows the story as told by the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army during WWII. Gamers will navigate their troops through a campaign that begins in Sicily and ends in Germany. As members of this squad, players begin their missions by selecting a drop point within the mission map. After jumping out of the plane, gamers can direct their parachute toward a selected point where the unit will land, and then regroup to head toward objectives such as discovering a German communications center. Vehicles, including Willy's Jeep, are available for transportation, or as combat vehicles if players have enemies on their tail. To keep the game as accurate as possible, developers have included upgrades such as the ability to add extra ammo capacity, shoulder holsters, and weapon slings. Players can also upgrade their weapons by filing down firing pins for faster firing rates, adding grips and pads for stability and accuracy, and taping extra ammo to guns for quicker reload times. Online play is available for competitive multiplayer action.

    Vanguard

    Your playing as a paratrooper during world war II and your fighting in some operations like D-day, market garden and operation Husky. The graphics and not the greatest, but its good enough. I like a lot of the medal of honor games, but this is one of the best.

    One of the worst MOHs

    The graphics were not very good for a latter game in the franchise. The levels were uninspiring and a little boring. Zooming was almost unnecessary in the gameplay mechanics. Out of all the MOH WW2 shooters, this and Rising Sun are the worst.

    Not better than the previous one

    I love medal of honor games! But i wish they would change things up and travel around the world instead of being stuck in the ww2 timeframe for 4 games, its like the exact same thing all over again but just a little bit different location in Europe. But since I am a fan of medal of honor I bought this and it was fun to play. This series is recomended to all war game lovers!! Enjoy playing this game and have some fun if you dont mind getting bored to death playing the same games of medal of honor over and over again

    MOH Series low for this title.......

    For starters I must say that I love the Medal of Honor series. I played the orginal on PS1 countless times after finishing the game and (I must state I also enjoyed how MOH and Underground had extra levels for completion bonus)I played Underground many times as well. When the PS2 and Xbox came out and I got Frontline, I was just enthralled! I played Frontline like there was no tomorrow. Let me tell ya, I did not get ANY of these effects from Vanguard.... If this game would have come out about 5 years earlier, maybe it would have been cool, but come on EA, this is NOT MOH quality here!!! If you are a true die hard fan, then get it, if not just rent the game or buy it, play it and resell it as I did. This is definitely worse than Rising Sun ever was!

    Medal of Honor Vanguard (Playstation 2)

    I'm still not decided on this one. We were somewhat disappointed. It definately isn't what we were expecting and have enjoyed previous MOH games alot better than this one. My recommendation is to wait for the game to go on sale and not pay the price we did when it was released. The graphics are the same as previous MOH games and the only challenge is if you play it on the most difficult level which is still not hard to get thru.
