This is not a general purpose kitchen knife: no splitting bone-in chicken breasts or cleaving hard rind vegetables like acorn or spaghetti squash. But chopping vegetables and herbs, cutting meat is a joy with this knife. Cuts through rolled basil leaves without bruising, slices tomatoes clean and straight.
