Dell Toner Cartridge Codes
The cartridge is fine in it's self, however, I did not realize that there were two types of magenta toner cartridges for a 3000cn/3100cn laser printer. My printer (3000cn) takes code M6935 (2000 pages), but others take the one I bought in error (K4972 - 4000 pages). They look exactly alike, but your printer knows the difference. So make sure you get the correct "coded" cartridge for your printer. Another thing to remember, the "code" on the "starter" cartridge you receive with your new printer is a different code entirely.The cartridge is fine in it's self, however, I did not realize that there were two types of magenta toner cartridges for a 3000cn/3100cn laser printer. Didn't even come close to description. Stopped working in days, was supposed to last 1-2 years. Don't buy anything from these guys.
