  • Even the dachshund couldn't save it

One thing's for sure. The dachshund needed more screen time. Definitely, lots more screen time. At least the movie would have had something fun to watch that way. But as it stands now, this movie deserves nothing more than the Pooper Scooper Award. While in Europe, ditzy Phoebe (Sean Young) found a dachshund who she chases away at first and then realizes there's a hefty reward for this pup. She tracks down the dog who is now annoying neurotic, unemployed actor Julian (Richard Lewis). Together these two misfits form an alliance to return the pup to his owner in Monte Carlo and claim the reward. But chaos ensues onboard the train when Julian sells the dog to the gambling addict Augie Morosco (John Candy) but Phoebe and Julian again become in possession of the dog. Once the train ...

  • Cute comedy but did not keep my interest as Uncle Buck did

I like John Candy in Uncle Buck better

  • Great Comedy with a Strange Plot

A Great Movie with a Great cast portrayed by Comedians John Candy,James Belushi,Cybill Shepherd,Sean Young,Richard Lewis,Ornella Muti,Giancarlo Giannini, and Of course George Hamilton. The plot starts out in Rome with a female going there to meet up with her New found lover, and is jilted and left alone in Italy. Right after that everything happens to her from meeting a out of work actor, finding a lost dog belonginging to a wealthy Woman and then Murder. The story becomes wilder with all of the other cast members falling into the plot and my favorite George Hamilton who creates a part as a Gigilo who wines and dines woman throughout the movie. Sound track is also Great. I rcommend buying it

  • The Who's Who of Who-Dunnits

With a well thought out cast, this movie was is a great way to spend 2 hours of your life. The plot is well-written and the cast was knock-out. Every bit as good as the initial reviews suggested (a rarity) and was highly entertaining. Being a huge John Candy fan myself, this movie was no disappointment and has a slot in my dvd collection.

  • funny movie

This movie is a comedy murder mystery that kept us laughing. Almost slapstick kind of humor.
