I was very happy, finally finding, this Large Print version for my mother, even though I thought $9.99 shipping was a bit excessive. My happiness continued until I opened the shipping container and found a receipt itemizign book and shipping which totaled $15.00 less than I paid. Your suggestion for me to ignore the receipt was not the solution I was looking for when I contacted you. Perhaps a better solution would have been to apologize and insure you would be more cautious for future sales.

    Loved Having our Say!

    It was a wonderful book easy to read without a lot of unnecesary details. I also liked reading it because I too am from that part of the country, but know very little about it. So I felt that two little old lady "Having their Say" had nothing to gain or lose by telling the truth about the things that happened during their life time. I completly enjoyed reading it, was sad when I got to the end. 1stepaheda

    Very accessible book about two remarkable women

    I like to offer my daughter a variety of life stories, and I’m so glad that I stumbled across this one. The Delany sisters have a special pragmatic optimism that we can all learn from. The book itself is crisply written and very accessible at different levels to those who may not be the strongest readers but who are socially astute.

    The book is very easy to read if you enjoy listening to the wisdom shared by the elderly. The writers challenge you to live life to the fullest, be bold, be confident.

    A Great Read On Family History

    I purchased this book after I seen the movie. I love this book it is great to know your family history. I enjoyed hearing the Delaney Sisters tell there family story. A great read I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoy family and knowing where they came from. Amazing Story!
