Hopefully the seller reads this feedback. The card works, but once again the thermal paste was 100% shot. Card overheated immediately. For someone who knows what their doing, no big deal. But for some, this would be a deal breaker if you don't know how to fix it. They claim that they stress test these cards, but I'm not so sure... Otherwise this would be noticed. Anyway, they made it right, and I replaced the pads too. The card is working great.

Stated it was stressed tested, and it couldn’t have. When I first got it and used it, I noticed soon as a game booted the fans rocketed to thermal protection and temps were 90c +. I instantly knew it needed thermal pads and /or paste. The paste was CHALK. And thermal pads were wrongly placed? Contacted seller who just said sorry for inconvenience and glad I solved it….. luckily I knew what I was doing or I would have been out more $. New paste and new pads n temps are under 50c always now.

Excellent product, but check compatibility before purchasing
This is a great SSD, and boost PC performance to an incredible level. But if you plan to connect it with the PCI interface for maximun performance, check the compatibility of your BIOS with NVMe drives before purchasing. Mine was not fully compatible and I had to modify the BIOS to use it (as explained in win-raid post "How to get full NVMe support for all Systems with an AMI UEFI BIOS") After that I was able to make a clean install of Windows 10 (the Samsung data migration tool was not able to make a bootable disk in my PC)This is a great SSD, and boost PC performance to an incredible level. FAST DRIVE
These are fast and easy to use on modern systems. SMALL too! Great C: drive for a mini-ITX system. Plenty of room for Windows 10-64 and a handful of programs along with some documents. If you are going to store a lot of pictures or video or have A TON of software you'll need additional storage- cloud or maybe a regular HDD.

Very Fast Drive

Super Fast!
Had to get an adapter to add an M.2 connection to PCI-E x4, because my motherboard didn't have one. Got that for only $20 (and there were less expensive options, but I read an outstanding review of the one I got) and now I have my biggest games installed on this SSD and they load in half the time!

Easy install - once you get the screw off!
Bought 3 of these - have installed 2 so far. The production folks of my ASUS MB are daft - they tighten the M2 mounting screw so hard it was a pain to get off. Once installed and you realize it doesn't at first show up in your drives list, its plain sailing. For the 2nd install I removed the SATA data cable from the other HD's to force the OS to copy to the M2 SSD.
