I have wanted this book for some time. I was happy to see this copy listed as "very good" as far as condition. What an understatement! It looks like it has never been touched!! As far as the buying experience, it was shipped immediately and arrived a couple of days before it was anticipated. The book itself was securely wrapped in paper before it was inserted into the envelope. Needless to say, I would be anxious to make a purchase from this seller again!

  • A Diana Fan

If you are a fan, as I am, having seen her again last year on tour, then you MUST read this book. As you read it, you go back in time. Wonderful experience.

  • From a 38yr olds vantage point in 2019

Most of us aren’t celebrities but for some experiences in life may mirror such a memoir. She is a black women from Detroit and she has something to say I can relate to the women I had in my life as a youth. Being a woman born and reared in Cleveland. The line of thought resonates. The home life that instilled hard work the many mentors. Many don’t understand today. That’s what breads a hard worker success and self respect

  • Could take it or leave it

I bought this book, thinking that Ms. Ross would tell the hard truth about some of her experiences in life. I thought she would talk about the hardships of the music industry, her childhood and the loves of her life. But I find that it's a fanciful biography. Her experiences sound sweet, glossed over, unreal. It's not gritty and it's very difficult to relate to. I thought it would be more natural. I hoped she would tell the truth.

  • I've always been a Supreme fan, so I know I will love this book.

When I wanted to buy it years ago, I couldn't, because I had too many books to read--so I've been waiting for a long time. It seems to be comparable to the other Supreme books, but I'm not sure. I haven't read it yet, but I love the pictures.
