Product Information

Roger Moore makes his fifth appearance as 007 in this, the twelfth Bond film. In this outing, the renowned British double agent must locate a weapons system known as ATAC, which controls Great Britain's submarines, after it is sunk on a ship in the Ionian Sea. While he must contend with a formidable foe in the villain known as Kristatos (Julian Glover), he does have the lovely and talented Melina (Carole Bouquet), the daughter of a scientist killed by Kristatos, on his side. For fans craving their old favorites, Blofeld, Moneypenny and Q all put in appearances. The stunts come fast and furious, most notably a breathtaking race down a ski slope at the film's opening. Academy Award Nominations: Best Original Song ("For Your Eyes Only").

    For Your Eyes Only

    It is one of my favorite Bond flicks as it incorporates all the characteristics that make the Bond film series the epitome of escapism. Fast cars (including a chase scene with a "duck"), beautiful women, amazing gadgets, and the obligatory bad guy that must be stopped. Hey, you want something with deep meaning - get "The Passion" or "Gone with The Wind." You want to escape into a world of adventure and romance - a real "hot-buttered popcorn kind of flick? Roger Moore's "For Your Eyes Only" is a great choice.

    One of the best Bond films ever

    For Your Eyes Only is a great film in the Bond collection. One of the more serious toned films of Sir Roger Moores performances of Bond. The opening titles with Sheena Easton singing was incredible and really fits the theme and mood for this movie. With Bond driving the classic Lotus Espirt Turbo, this movie also ties some loose ends with the Sean Connery films. Overall this is a great film that should not be passed up by any bond fan at all.
