Frigidaire's replacement, be sure to order the newer replacement capacitor too
Replacement for an 11-year-old Frigidaire. You have to modify with crimping on smaller terminals to fit inside the slots. Order a replacement capacitor at the same time to fit the new Controller, then it's gold. The old controller was bad however you couldn't tell it was bad with a multimeter. The compressor would turn on for a few seconds and then it would click off so it didn't overheat... you could hear it. Replaced and the Refrigerator and the temps are perfect again. Side note the old capacitor tested with good values but those terminals are smaller than the new replacement slots on the Controller. Solved warm fridge problem
I paired this with a new capacitor that sits in this relay and now the fridge works great. The compressor would only run for about 5 seconds and turn off, trying to cycle on every minute or so. Fridge warmed up. Replaced relay and capacitor and fridge has new lease on life. Very simple to replace.
