Product Information

Xbox Music Mixer is part software, part technology upgrade that expands the Xbox to function as a karaoke, music manager, photo viewer, and storage depository for computers. Bundled with a microphone, the disc includes 12 karaoke songs from popular recording artists such as the B-52's and Jimmy Eat World, complete with onscreen lyrics. Closet crooners can also insert any CD and mask the vocals, then record their own performance onto the Xbox hard drive for later listening or insertion into games supporting the custom soundtrack feature. The music manager now allows players to automatically pull up track listings and recording artists for most CDs as well as add effects like distortion, flange, chorus, and so forth.<br><br>Players who have all their mp3s stored on computer no longer have to create them from scratch to port them to the Xbox hard drive. Now players can download images, songs, and video files from their PC to the console, or use Xbox Live to access new karaoke songs and other bonuses. While playing music, Xbox Music Mixer adds 20 "visualizers" that move to the beat of the music like a personal light show or rave. Image files can also be used as part of the show, and players are free to edit the visualizers to create the effect they desire. Users can also add visual effects, captions, and voice overs to the photos while they are displayed. In addition to the microphone and software, Xbox Music Mixer comes packaged with a controller port connector to interface with PCs.

Finally it arrived, I see why some collectors don't want it and it's because apart from the stamp it doesn't come in a box with its section for the memory card, it's a generic box and without an advertisement other than the manual. I have no problems since other than that everything comes with an original color manual, thick paper cover and blue disc. I recommend the seller, the price was ok.

    music mixer

    I bought this game to get the microphone and the game was a bonus. I'm not a gamer, I just love Karaoke revolution and I needed another mic. The microphone broke before I even hooked it up. Very cheap. The game however turned out to be pretty cool. You can play any music cd in the xbox and this game takes out the lead vocals so you can be the lead singer. You can record yourself singing and play it back. There's lots of other neat mixing you can do, I just haven't took the time yet to experiment with it.

    YOULL NEED THE XBOX MUSIC MIXER PC TOOL

    You can still download the tool at xbox hq dot com. If you want to maximize the utility of this cool retro karoke game you can now have all of the hard to find utilities. This is a hard to find download, get it while you can. Microsoft no longer offers it.

    I bid on this game for a friend and he abolutely flipped! He is so happy with it! He said it's fast paced and interesting keeps him coming back for more over and over! everyone in his house loves to sing and this game keeps up with the whole family

    Fun Game!!!

    Pretty fun game! Not as good as singstar for PS2 but hey at least XBOX has one and it is kinda cool how it lets you karaoke your own songs!!!

    music mixer

    I bought this because I wanted to see what it was like I heard different things good and bad. I have found it to be interesting but has a lot of features that you need to explore. It is a good product if you really like your music.
