First rate seller and excellent service. The Canon lens hood arrived in the mail via Hong Kong Post and then Australia Post only a week after being shipped from Hong Kong. Well packed and in mint condition, it is not easy to find one of these EW-83 II lens hoods brand new and for such a good price. Thank you.

  • Tough competition for Nikon SB-600

I have liked this flash from the time that I read the first reading of the product specifications. This is truly a tough contender for the Nikon SB-600 speedlight at a significant savings. The 24-105mm usable range is a lot wider than that of the SB-600 and the GN44 at 105mm (ISO 100) is stronger than that of the SB-600. The MarkII is even better and at a cost that is consistent with the SB-600. I have watched the SB-600 used go for a lot more than the Di622 and wondered what were the buyers thinking. Not to mention the fact that I have watched the SB-600 (used) go for more that the price of a new one? I have read comments about the weight of the speedlight in comparison to that of the SB-600 and honestly, I like the build quality of the Di622 better. When I think about the weight, the ...

  • Nissin Speedlite Di622 Mark ll for Canon

I own a Canon 550EX speed light and was looking for another comparable flash to use for some off camera flash work. Although this flash doesn't have a viewable LCD, and the instructions are really not that clear, I find that for the money this suits my needs for a 2nd flash. It has enough power to keep up with my Canon, but I wish it was a little more user friendly as far as the EV switches. You have to use it in manual mode if you are slaving it off the Canon with triggers.. It's pretty much guess work to get the right exposure as a 2nd flash. But with trial and error it's become quite useful for my purposes. For the money it's worth a try for a 2nd flash. It also doesn't use up the batteries as fast as my Canon which is such a pig on batteries. Build quality is quite nice solid plastic, ...

  • A great alternative to a brand name flash

This little speedlight is a great alternative for those on a budget wanting a sound easy to use flash that operates as a wireless system with ease. The controls are dead simple and easy to access and the power is comparable to my first flash unit, a Canon 430 MK 11. The Nissin "plays well with others too", responding to my wireless trigger and my other flash unit in sync. I could not be more pleased and am happy to recommend this unit to you all.

  • Good Price and Good Build!

Good quality flash, seems to be very effective with the Canon exposure system. Still learning it's tricks. Manufacturing quality is good and the built-in diffuser and reflector are excellent and easy to use. Havn't made use of its slave capability or wireless trigger but I'm sure they function very well.

  • Cheap flash but some limitations

Works really good but lacks some of the features available in Nikon's Creative Lighning System - max. shutter time is 1/200 sec. And if you want to use it detached from the camera and triggered by the internal flash, you need to experiment with its power + exposure. But if you need a simple, yet powerful flash, Nissin is perfect. Or nearly perfect.
