    Great card for it's age

    This is an old graphics card but still very compelling in 2016 for budget gaming. If you can score one of these for less than $50 or so, it's an excellent entry-level component and should do just fine running modern games at 720p or with light settings at 1080p. This particular version with Sapphire's custom cooler is pretty effective- the fan has a -lot- of power when it gets up to full speed, if you don't mind the noise, so there's a good bit of thermal headroom when overclocking. The heatsink is only mounted to the GPU die, though, so the RAM is cooled by the fan without any contact with a heatsink or backplane. The heatsink has three fat, effective heatpipes, and the cooler design is mainly internal exhaust, though it does allow for some airflow out the rear. The card uses two 6-pin ...

    AMD Radeon video card by Sapphire

    Desktop Computer graphic video card, bought as replacement and do had to choose carefully. This one fit perfectly in my chassis, fan used the AMD app the previous card used, so didn't have to find another. Sapphire brand seems to be top quality so i am looking forward to another decade of use. Decade in computers? Well if you buy commercial grade they tend to resist obsolescence better than the rest.     Great price per performance

    One of the best performing cards for the price. Only with that it had another gig of GDDR5 so I could bump up the resolution on the newer AAA titles.

    Excellent Sidegrade

    While this has the same amount of memory, and is even from the same generation as my previous video card, it performs noticeably better without getting bottlenecked by any of the other components in my system due technological limitations.

    Easily works with a hackintosh setup without extra trouble.

    Great card. Building A MacTower from scratch. This card is a must. Works with OSX very well and doesn't need special drivers to make it work on a hackintosh setup. Got it because all the OSX86 sites recommend it. It fits easily with any PCIe card slot, alleviates any congestion you'd get with using built in graphics via the Gigabyte motherboard, plus gives you HDMI output and I will be outputting to a 32in Emerson LCD screen for both TV and Mac uses. You could get more expensive products, but if you are looking for an affordable option, this is the best one to get plus it works on all hackintosh configurations.
