Stone Fury - Best of
The Best of Stone Fury has five or six outstanding tracks, and it is likely you will only remember one of two of them. My personal favorite is "Life is too lonely" which I remember hearing from a friends radio in 1985. Other tracks you may recall are - Shannon You Lose, Break Down The Walls, Mamas Love, I Hate To Sleep Alone; all of the listed tracks are from the first Stone Fury album Burns Like A Star. Other tracks include Lies On The Run, Too Late, Babe, Let Them Talk, and Eye of the Storm (from the album Let Them Talk). This album is worth getting for a few reasons. First, this is the core of melodic rock from the 80's. Second, it features Lenny Wolf in his pre-Kingdom Come days. Third, it simply is good music. an absolute MUST for any kingdom come fan. i have seen a used cd of just "burns" for over $100, this has both full cds on one disk. there are a couple tracks i tend to skip, but are not "bad". and a couple can be found (redone) on some of the later KC cds, and i just LOVE the rest. Lenny's vocals are so tight and creative and this is "80's rock", so if you are familiar with KC/this genre, you will not be disappointed. i have zero regrets.
