About this product

Product Information

Since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, the nation's economy has been in bad shape. In order to help pay off some its debts, the government has been selling off some of its MIG fighters. Unhappy with this course of action, the Russian Colonel Povich has defected and taken the MIGs with him. Unfortunately, he is headed toward the United States, along with a deadly chemical weapon that has the potential to wipe out the entire western hemisphere.<br><br>In Tomcat Alley, you assume the identity of Dakota, a Tomcat gunner sent to stop the forces of Colonel Povich. Your plane, Shadow 5, is accompanied by your wingman, Shadow 3. The entire game is made up of live-action footage in which you must choose destinations, evade attacks, and, of course, shoot down enemy planes. <br><br>Failure is not an option. Such a circumstance will result in your death -- not to mention that of hundreds of millions of other people.

    Well what do ya know... a decent FMV game

    If you find some FMV games to be interesting then this is one that you should definitely buy. The action is fast paced, the acting mildly interesting ( at worst I would describe it as tolerable) and has pretty good flight footage and explosions. If you don't like FMV's somewhat limited interaction then you'll probably hate this one as well. If you've played Surgical Strike or Road Avenger and enjoyed those then this is up your alley. It has more interaction than Road Avenger and better acting than Surgical Strike. Overall, I found it to be an entertaining game that I play from time to time.

    Probably best FMV game out there

    Probably best FMV game out there. Its like any other FMV game with limited controls and gameplay but video, story and action makes it fun. Great sound effects, soundtrack and actually decent for Sega Cd full screen video. I love playing this with speakers loud and its like watching a good movie that you control.

    tomcat ally(sega cd,1994)

    not the best game in the world but if your a collecter like me needed it for my library. for its time it was a allright game what do you aspect for being so old.

    bland fmv garbage

    Please don't get this game. It was suppost to be like top gun...but instead more like bland unispired acting inside of a cardboard box made to look like a plane.
