Good Product, Works Well.
Unable to find the SEM green self-etching primer, I decide to use the Transtar primer instead. You have to purchase the activator, which adds to the cost, but it also increases the quantity of primer because it is mixed at a 1:1 ratio. The data sheets do not list recommended tip sizes or pressure, so I started with a 1.3mm tip and 25 psi at the gun. I later brought the pressure down to 15 psi at the gun and it still sprayed well. Coverage was excellent, and it cured in one hour. Instead of waiting for the SEM product to reappear, I'm going to stick with this primer. It's nice mixing the base and activator and not having to wait for the induction time to pass.Unable to find the SEM green self-etching primer, I decide to use the Transtar primer instead.
