I was a bit reluctant to buy a "refurb" and did some research on the pro's and con's but this one came with a fairly good warranty and too,i I was saving roughly $40-50 buying brand new so I took the chance. I feel like I got a great deal on mine. The only issue that I have with it is the weight. It's pretty heavy. I wouldn't want to tote it around in a back pack if I were a student. On the up side though that speaks to the quality of the product. It is a huge sound. I have a Bose wave radio and I would compare it to that quality.
