I found this book a bit long winded to start, but I soon worked out how to do the diet. I,ve lost 8lbs.I really enjoy the food you can eat and find it easy to choose appropriate food when eating out. The only thing I miss is dessert.

Brilliant diet plan.Much more healthy than people think! Example, breakfast grilled bacon, scrambled egg, mushrooms. Lunch Chicken mayo salad, olives, advocado, bacon bits, boiled egg, lots of lovely salad items. Dinner fish/meat and veg/salad/stir fry. Yum and great weight losses, 10lb in two weeks for me!
I had heard people knocking ths diet but decided to give it a try. lost 36 pounds in eight weeks. I also got on my bike for 30-60 minutes 5 times a week. Would recomend you try it and follow the instructions to the letter.
The only diet that works for me and the only book of the serires needed really. Very useful recipes and typical menus. Having done Atkins 15 years ago, I wanted to return to it as I put some weight on last year. Easy to follow but need some will power and serious organisation. Highly recommended however.
