The connector pins and some parts were a bit dirty due to age and I could not get them to function at first so I’m not sure if they were actually tested prior to shipping, but with about 5mins, some q-tips and isopropyl alcohol, was able to get the connector pins squeaky clean and the transfer paks functioning just fine. My son loves them and I look forward to smoking him in pokemon stadium :)

Despite the condition of packaging however, the item itself seemed unharmed, being there was no visible signs of damage, and when tested, works well with no trouble.
