Was great until they changed it for no apparent reason.
The problem is they changed the ingredients and added color so now i cqn't use it due to allergies. The way it was before, I loved it. There was nothing indicating these changes as far as I could see so when I opened the bottle and saw they were pink instead of dark brown or blue or whatever, I looked at the ingredient list. Very good results with no side effects.
I started using Cholestoff when I was diagnosed as having acquired Diabetes at around age 55. My cholesterol had been slightly elevated my entire adult life and now my doctor was concerned about it. I had tried taking Red Yeast Rice capsules before but had to stop taking them due to the extreme muscle cramps that they gave me. So before agreeing to take a prescription Statin drug (which also list muscle cramps as a side effect) I told the doctor that I would like to try a more natural remedy first and she said that she supported that. After I had been on the Cholestoff for a couple of months I had another blood test done and it showed that my total cholesterol had dropped about 15%, which was enough to satisfy both she and I.
