The magnet in this misses up the Compass-Temperature readings in my Chevy Tahoe mirror. Company says the factory windshield mount will do the same thing. It does not because it is not around the mirror. If you have a compass, I sure do not recommend this mount. And I would be glad to sell you mine for 1/2 price. They will not take it back because of the time it took to get Escort.

Great price for a great mirror mount!
I bought one of these for my Ford F-150. It installed easily and works very well. I like it so much, I bought another for my Corvette C6. The radar mounts neatly under the mirror. Although the magnet is not quite as strong as the original, my Escort IX has never fallen off – even during some very rough rides.

Stick with the suction cup
Magnet not up to par(about half the strength of the Escort mag) geometry it out, positions the radar detector about 10” away from the window. I was not able to tighten the connections enough (even with pliers) to keep it from moving while driving and coupled with a weak magnet it spent more time on the floor than attached. I will return and buy a Blendmount.

No Go
Unfortunately it does NOT fit or work in my 2011 C6 Corvette Convertible Grand Sport OR MY 2011 Dodge Durango Citadel. Because of the types of "active" rear view mirrors in both cars this mount does not work/fit.
