This toaster oven
This toaster oven is not like others I know. I normally expected a temperature dial, a toaster timer and a toaster lever to start toasting - three controls. This preconception is probably why I could not understand how different this item is. It has two dials and no toasting levers. The top dial has four (4) positions OFF-BREAD-BAKE-TOAST. My toaster oven has a dial that sets temperature. The bottom dial is a timer (0-15 minutes). Since I cook several items that need 350 degrees or 400 degrees or 525 degrees for 14, 18, 20, and 22 minutes The timer is not long enough for my needs. I have a toast lever whereas this item does not. These differences were not obvious in the description on eBay. I think I will not be buying type of item from this seller again. probably lowest price offered; seems takes a tad bit longer toast; no setting to increase intensity,i.e. lt,med,dark; set to toast and set the timer for 10 but it usually takes 13-15 to thoroughly brown the bread. element is red hot upper and lower; but it does work fine...for the money, a good choice; haven't used it for pizza, bagels, etc...
