Ehhhhhh some pros and cons
Okay so first and foremost if you buy this product DO NOT LISTEN TO THE DIRECTIONS TELLING YOU HOW TO MOUNT THE CALIPER BRACKET. The directions tell you to mount it with the caliper tabs pointed towards the rear of the quad. THIS DOES NOT WORK. If you do that... 1 you cannot use the bolts they provide you with because they are too long and hit the knuckle where the tie rod end mounts. 2 you cannot use the factory mounts for the brake hose. You would have to get a longer hose or completely ignore the mounts and leave the hose dangling, nearly taught in order to mount to the caliper. If you mount the caliper bracket pointed towards the front of the quad, everything works perfectly. The bolts work, and the brake hose works while retaining the factory brake hose mounts. I’d consider this a simple typo if they had not bold faced and underlined the word rear in the directions regarding caliper bracket mounting. Not really sure what’s going on there. Other than that.. I would’ve really liked to see a 3/8” (10mm) thick rotor disc rather than the 3/16” (5mm) thick disc they provide you with. I frankly cannot see why they didn’t do this other than cost. A thicker rotor disc would clear everything just fine. This is a heavy quad (600lbs) that can go almost 70mph. A 3/16” thick disc is simply pathetic. I’m also pretty disappointed with the caliper sizes considering that information. Because of these things the braking performance is no better than the factory drum setup while it is in good condition and adjusted properly. That all being said, this is still a beneficial buy if your factory drum setup is in the condition mine was, where I was going to need all new wheel cylinders, shoes, and drums. The price difference between that and this kit was negligible, and disc brakes are easier to work on in my opinion, so I decided to make the switch. I honestly was really expecting better performance and better parts though considering the quads power and weight. Before you think I didn’t bleed the system properly or break in the pads, I did both of those. It’s just because the calipers are tiny, so the pads are tiny, and the rotor is very thin. There’s just not much there to stop it

Don't waste your time on old drums or buying knock offs to save $20. This kit fits exact, but be ready to press your studs in the hub. The way they tell you on the instructions just didn't work for me. I'm not sure it even started them. I'll post a video on YouTube of how I pressed them on the weekend when the shops were closed that worked great and had me riding a few hours later. PS, GET A TORQUE WRENCH and LEARN HOW TO USE IT AND SOME EXTRA THREAD LOCK.Don't waste your time on old drums or buying knock offs to save $20.
