Product Information

The carnival returns to PSP in Thrillville: Off the Rails, part park management sim and part adventure game. Build an assortment of themed roller coasters, racetracks, and offbeat rides while attempting to impress the crowds and turn a profit along the way. Unlike similar business-oriented titles, however, Thrillville's focus isn't on micromanaging a multitude of resources. You instead explore the 3D animated park from a third-person perspective set behind a male or female character. Characters are encouraged to converse with visitors, participate in mini-games, and even ride the coasters for a firsthand account of each twist, tumble, and turn.<br><br>Off the Rails also includes a wide variety of customization options. Concession stands can be built around the park, ticket prices adjusted, staff hired, and more. Choose from several pre-designed rides or build your own by mixing and matching parts. Rides can be further tweaked with animatronics, new paint schemes, flaming hoops, additional cars, and so forth. Each area features missions to complete, from talking to specific patrons to earning a monthly profit on a particular attraction. Fans of the original Thrillville will explore 15 new areas and compete in a total of 34 arcade-style mini-games. Ad-hoc wireless support is included for head-to-head mini-game battles as well as the option to trade coaster designs.

    Off the Rails is Off the Charts

    With game play and graphics that are exciting and easy to understand, anyone will enjoy playing this game. The task is simple: make money, build rides, keep the people happy, and repeat. You can actually control the conversations with the people in the this game to make friend or enemies, depending on the mood you are in. As a Roller Coaster Tycoon Junkie, this game is great to have along when I can't bring the whole PC. If you have enjoyed any of the Tycoon or Empire games, this is a game you should try.

    that is good very good

    iff only thrillville had the chain and breaks it would be good but the main problem is that people who play thrillville dont kno how to make rollercoasters :3 but if u think im wrong, ....... go ahead ....... but the good thing is, ...its portable.... :P... and rct3 on the other hand..... , u can make them longer, more room to build, and better scenery......but dont get me wrong i love them both and plzzz answer iff u get a chance to read this.........thx for ur time..........

    cool game long play

    This is an excellent addition to any PSP library. It provides lots of hours of play and endless mini-game play which sometimes are a little tough in the scoring dept. but are complimented by plenty of other fun and cool things to do around the parks and with the people you encounter. Love the game as does my 8 year old daughter. Overall a fun game for any one in the family whether they want to start a whole game of their own or simply find their favorite mini-game to tinker with.

    great game

    I have loved the first thrillville game so i had to get the second one and i must say i was impressed. It has more creative rides and different world for you to choose from than the first one. You can stop rides in mid track to save electricity in your park and much more thrillville off the rails get a A from me

    What a cool game.

    I bought this game for my son and he loved it. I have played with him a few times and I love the whole build your own ride concept. The only down fall is it takes a few strokes to build your ride but my son seems to like that he can develop the ride himself. Great E game for any age.
