Product Information

(Book). Now in paperback and updated with new material and photos, this acclaimed book is the first to examine the guitars, basses, drums, keyboards, amplifiers everything The Beatles used to become history's greatest rock 'n' roll band. It analyzes all the gear and how the trend-setting Beatles played it to sculpt an unforgettable range of sounds. Year by year, Beatles Gear examines in fine detail specific instruments, amplifiers, and other equipment used by each artist from the pre-Beatle days in 1956-57 Liverpool, throughout the global Beatlemania of the '60s, to the group's disbanding in 1970.

  • Beatles Gear

This is the first comprehensive and accurate compilation of most if not all the guitars, amps and effects that The Beatles used starting with their very first low price beginners guitars straight through the final years of The Group that started it all. Andy Babiuk took a great deal of care in obtaing information and photos of true iconic gear. From Rickenbackers,Hofners,Gretsch and Vox too,its all here. A fantactic guide that will help you in your quest for those special guitars and amps [and drums] you want to recreate the golden tone of the 1960's. I personally recommend this book to all Beatle enthusiasts, players and fans alike. A good read that will keep you coming back again and again. AAAAA+++++ Five Stars Plus !

  • beatles gear

this was a gift and I was skeptical about the low price as there was a high buy it now. I made a couple of bids and really did not pay probably what it was really worth. In my eyes I got a great deal but the test was this was a gift for a musician and beatles fanatic. he really loves the book and read it in a day. call him obsessed but it is all good. he loves the book and thus making me very happy I purchased it thank you for a great deal.

  • The definitive Beatle musical gear book!

If you're a Beatle freak like I am (and especially if you're into musical gear), this book is a must!

  • Nice book for any Beatle fan - Thumbs Up!

This book is very nice! A lot, and I mean A LOT of pictures of the band and their instruments, ads etc. It's all listed in chronlogical order, starting in 1957. The amount of information you get is HUGE, maybe a little to much in my opinion. It's a lot of text in there... But, nevertheless, very interesting if you like the Beatles!
