Very thin, cheap fabric - probably polyester - that is somewhat difficult to put on due to the slippery nature of the fabric, and once on, tends to fall off very easily. The fabric should have been a heavier weight cotton blend that would be less "slick". I've had many of this type of skull cap in the past and they were all far superior to this item. A few dollars more for better quality fabric would have been worthwhile.
