The Zyliss model 11202 cheese grater has the advantage of holding together firmly for grating, yet coming apart easily for cleaning. I've used it with smoked Gouda and had no trouble with the quality of performance or removing cheese from the grater. The cheese came out in shreds as it was supposed to do. Some did stick to the inside of the barrel; I removed it by gently scraping with a small fork. It cleans completely in the dishwasher. Note: This grater was made in Switzerland.

This cheese grater is simply too small! It is very uncomfortable to try to hold it while working the grinding mechanism without bumping into my own knuckles. It’s been frustrating and I would definitely not buy it again.
