  • Exciter- Long LIve the LOUD

    What I love about this c.d. is that this captures Exciter in all their glory/ and heyday. The album starts out like a bullet from a gun, and continues on its path, until you're lying on the floor, flattened. I also have this album, so I was aware of all of Dan Beehler's total madman, maniacal drum-pounding, Alan Johnson's bass grinding with lightning speed, and John Ricci's gruesome axe welding powers that be. Add to the mix Dan Beehler's tough-as-nails vocals, and you are starting to get the picture. I first listened to this album at age 19, and have been hooked, ever since. My only regret is that I never got a chance to see these guys live and in action, I can't even imagine how it must have felt to be lucky enough to see these guys do what they do best, and ...
