Lacquer paint becoming harder to find.
These paints have been around for a long time but are no longer made. They are becoming more and more difficult to find (probably due to the fact that they are made with harmful chemicals). However, this kind of paint produces a superior finish to any modeling project. Clean-up with turpentine or lacquer thinner is required and most products on the market today are water-based and do not provide the fine finish of the lacquer-based paints.
