One of my favorites
This adaptation of Frank Miller’s source material is a very respectful interpretation. They take much less artistic liberties than other films such as The Killing Joke. This is one of my top three favorite Batman animated films and it’s one I will continue to enjoy in the future.

very good DVD, highly recommended watch for any batman fan. the story starts 10 years after batman has been away from the crime fighting game and commissioner Gordon is about to retire as well. batman decides to suit up 1 more time and take on the new criminals that are taking gotham by storm.you learn of a new robin and get to watch an aging batman take on superman in an epic battle. I believe this story line is also the beginning of batman INC.(although I could be wrong about that part, as I do not know much of the batman INC story line)very good DVD, highly recommended watch for any batman fan. the story starts 10 years after batman has been away from the crime fighting game and commissioner Gordon is about to retire as well. batman decides to suit up 1 more time and take on the new criminals that are taking gotham by storm.you learn of a new robin and get to watch an aging batman take on superman in an epic battle.
