Ok for basic sound, surround sound doesn’t work.
The remote does not appear to work with the main unit. Only a couple basic functions work. Currently the surround sound function does not work as sound only comes out of 2 of 4 speakers. I am trying to find support to see if the remote needs reprogramming or something.

When my 1 year old Samsung receiver starting burning up one day no extra warranty need a solution.Decided to see if by chance Ebay had one like mine.Surprise they did and had the same wire connections made it easy swap out.Saved hundreds by purchasing from Ebay instead of getting whole new system. the bonus was i won it and it had speakers which at the time didn't know that one front speaker burned out at time of receiver failure. Samsung HT C5500 Home Theater
Sound is excellent, easy set up right out of the box. Why would anyone pay thousands for a Home Theater system when you can get one like this for under $200...( used ). Highly recommend. Dont know if it's true of all home theater systems, but when you open the DVD to either play or just turn it off, the TV goes to home theater..and you have change inputs/source to go back to TV...minor negative, but annoying.Sound is excellent, easy set up right out of the box. Why would anyone pay thousands for a Home Theater system when you can get one like this for under $200...( used ). Highly recommend.
