    Hornby Mk 1 composite

    Although this is in the railroad range it is a very good model. There has been a step change in the quality from Hornby's previous Mk 1 coaches and it is able to run alongside Hornby's high quality products such as their Stanier coaches, without looking out of place. The finish is good and bogeys have small couplings in NEM sockets so they can be changed if required. The cost is approximately half the price of the new high standard coaches. The only reason I haven't give 5 stars is that it does lack some detail. Overall a really good model.
