    Thumbs DOWN! Going Overboard (DVD)

    Oh Dear! I love Adam Sandler but I have to say this is definitely not one of his Best by far! This is a Very Low Budget Film and Staring is a very Young Adam (looks quite funny really). The Story is based on Commentary by Shecky(Adam Sandler) as he plays a Cruise Ship Waiter who is trying very hard to become the Ships Comedian. Dickie Diamond is the comedian on this Ship and will not give Shecky a Chance, though events soon turn giving Shecky a Chance to Shine and win over those Gorgeous Girls. Leaving the Question - Will Shecky Sink or Swim? My Only Recommendation is -Watch if there is nothing else on.

    Krug's Review of Going Overboard

    A young Adam Sandler in his first film outing, as the naive and gullible character he developed for many of his later films. The actors throw themselves whole-heartedly into this mad-cap comedy, with some weird and wonderful performances from the likes of Billy Zane and Scott LaRose. The film was set on a small cruise ship heading for a Miss Universe Pageant. Therefore, the ship was full of beauty queens from all over the USA and the film makers made the most the situation ... lots of girls in the movie!

    best movie ever!!

    best film ive ever seen,recomended its funny and high budget!! you wont be disapointed! it had me in stitches and then i wanted to shoot myself!!!!

    not adam sadlers best!!

    i bought this film because i love adam sadler films and i worked on cruise ships myself, i hadnt seen this one and i wish i hadnt !! this must be the worse adam sadler film he ever made. i fell asleep!!

    Adan sandlers made better movies.

    You can tell this is by far 1 of adam sandlers first movies cuz it isnt that gud compared to his others! He is a lot younger in this film but still provides you with lots of laughs.
