Arrived as anticipated, but it was shipped in a plain, unpadded manila envelope that arrived with a tear in it. The plastic clam shell packaging surrounding this brand new slot car was dented on one end (right side). Dents don't show up in the listing picture, so I'm assuming this happened during transit. Fortunately, it doesn't appear to have damaged the actual new slot car itself, but a very close call. I recommend the seller use better packaging next time, e.g., box w/padding inside.

Nicely designed Utility Knife BUT the Thumb Lever needs improvement
The basic knife is solidly built and should last for a long time BUT the thumb lever for extending the blade is a cheap, thin piece of stamped metal that has a sharp sort of edge that is uncomfortable to move in either direction. I cannot highly recommend this product. I had TWO of the plastic version of this same knife and I do like the finger grip design of the knife body on both, but the plastic version had a PLASTIC thumb lever that easily broke (that one SHOULD have been made of metal too) which is why I ordered this one. I must say I am disappointed. At best, the only thing I can say further is that AT LEAST the thumb lever on the metal knife should be more durable and last longer.
