This book was exactly as described, response was good and shipping was prompt. I'm not happy in general about the high cost of shipping one paperback as $20+ Cdn is getting to be cost prohibitive for buying on ebay.

  • a good book, thought provoking,

This a book that should be read by all that believe that the US can fight conventional or counterinsurgency warfare and effectively stop the Islamic extremists around the world. The US cannot do it, it must be fought by the ruling government, if in fact they have the support of the local community. Otherwise they cannot win either. The book is discussing communist revolutions generally but if you substitute Islamic extremist, it covers today's headlines. Well worth the read if you want an alternative approach to the current way of thinking.
