    It's Star Trek

    All three seasons in one set what could be more exciting. The discs are round with a hole in the middle. Each season comes in a plastic box embossed with the Star Trek Logo and theme. Boxes are gold, blue and red just like the command structure of the uniforms. It looks cool on the shelf. I have no idea if the discs have anything on them or if they play. I can easily watch on Netflix but I just like having them on the shelf. TOS is still the standard for the stories of Star Trek. LLAP.

    Amazing and Excellent Product

    Great value for the money

    My husband is a huge original Star Trek fan. He was so excited to get this boxed set for Christmas! He spent an entire weekend on a Star Trek marathon. The DVD's were new with no issues. He truly has enjoyed every minute he has spent watching these shows.

    Beautiful editing of the ORIGINAL footage

    When I saw BBC America's marathon of the first two seasons of Star Trek, I was HORRIFIED that someone removed all the original footage of the Enterprise, spaceships and effects, and replaced them with stylized, modern versions. This new footage not only doesn't match the rest of the show, it negates all that original, groundbreaking work the creators of Star Trek did. I couldn't even watch it! This collection thankfully has all the original artwork and imagery, cleaned up and edited to fit today's modern TVs. The DVDs are well packaged, and the entire look and presentation of the product is enjoyable. If you are a purist and wish to watch the real original Star Trek, be careful which DVDs you buy. Look for these "egg shaped" ones that were released in 2004.

    Great classic series!

    This is a classic series. Yes, there are some weak, poorly written episodes, especially in the 3rd season, but there are also many good quality episodes, and quite a few excellent episodes (City on the Edge of Forever, Balance of Terror, The Squire of Gothos, Space Seed, The Devil in the Dark, Amok Time, The Changeling, Mirror Mirror, The Doomsday Machine, The Trouble with Tribbles, A Piece of the Action... Well, I'd better quit before I end up turning this review into a modern day War and Peace. If you're a fan of classic, old-school science fiction, Star Trek is must see viewing.
