I was previously using a ventilated case with a CPU heat sink. The CPU temp was +32C-34C ambient room temperature. Inside this case with the fan, the CPU temp is about 14-16C above ambient. I mounted the fan on the outside of the lid. I've found that works better than mounting it below the lid. This is a good budget enclosure.
