    OEM replacement part at a good price.

    This is an OEM replacement part which was easy to install. The only difference between this one and mine was the color. (Mine was white and this one is gray. (No big deal)

    A true GE design dissapointment

    I recommended the product since you have no alternative if you already own this GE dishwasher. The problem with the module is that the detergent lid closing latch is made of softer plastic material than the hook that keeps it closed. After a number of lid pushes-to-close, the latch will wear out and will not stay closed anymore making the dishwasher unusable. It would be easy if GE offers the lid as replacement part which would cost $2-$3 and replacement would take five minutes but they don't, so that you have to buy the whole assembly for more than ten times the price and more than an hour labor to replace. My next dishwasher will definitely not be a GE made.

    Right Part, Right Price!

    Part fits perfectly at a good price. Easily installed with tips from various YouTube videos. Probably cost 2 to 3 hundred dollars with repair service. Cost me less than 50 bucks and about an hour to R&R the part.
