    Fixed the problem at minimal cost.

    I had a problem with my Ford 450 truck not staying in park. I replaced the cable, but that only partially fixed the problem. There was still a lot of play in the shifter. I purchased this shift tube and plunger assembly, and the problem was solved. It was a good quality after market product, at cost way below a factory replacement part.

    Shift tube

    The shift tube was as I thought , But the plunger was not ,(pot metal) so I took the steel plunger out of the old broken shift tube and put it in the new one works GREAT,
