    Solid Value, But You Might Prefer the Older Model

    I have owned and used Sansa Fuze players for several years, and bought this one for the greater memory capacity. While it does have some improvements from previous models, they also made it worse in some other ways. Here is the good and the bad of it. GOOD. Bigger video screen and higher resolution capability make video viewing much better. The greater memory capacity is always welcome. I also think the sound quality is slightly improved. BAD: The old wheel navigation was way better than this new swipe system. And what happened to the hold button? Finding a particular item is nowhere near as easy as it was on the older model as the menus are not nearly as comprehensive or intuitive. I am disappointed when I find a manufacturer lessens the value of a product, and Sansa has done ...

    Bring back the older Sansa Fuze with the scroll wheel!!!!!

    This Sansa Fuze+ works OK, but it definitely takes getting used to. The swipe/touch feature is far too sensitive, and takes much more time to scroll through the folders & files, than the scroll wheel on the old version does. The only reason I got this one was only to replace my older Fuze who had been a workhorse for almost 3 years, and was on its last legs. If I could've acquired another Fuze at a reasonable price, I would have. IMO, the Fuze+ is user-UNfriendly compared to the older Fuze.

    Can't recommend this one, controls out of control.

    I have a Sansa MP3 from a few years ago that is still working well, so when I came across this model, I bought two- big mistake. This model is very hard to control. It hangs a long time, then jumps several screens ahead, etc. Then trying to go back you end up not where you want to be. Also volume is limited and inadequate for busy gym situation. Key lock didn't work the way the instructions told you, i.e. pressing hold button a certain way, which caused much problem if you put it in pocket it was changing all over the place. After online upgrade screen now reads hold down power button for key lock, so that's finally resolved (except it often turns off when trying to lock keys, then you have to start the whole long process of booting up again). But why shouldn't you get a button lock on ...

    Great for Audiobooks!

    I bought this when I lost my previous player. I listen mostly to audiobooks so I wanted one that I could stop listening anywhere in the book and listen to something else and when I came back it would remember where I left off in that book. I am able to do this with multiple books. It is great. The fast forward, rewind and other "touch" controls are a little challenging but it works eventually. The battery last a long time and I would definitely recommend this player to other audio book listeners.

    Great machine in english

    very easy to use, once I got the right language. ladies beware if you have long fingernails. Machine is very sensitive to touch. Over all great little machine. Great sound. I had to go online to figure out how to get the machine to work in english. I did get quite a good laugh and learned alittle swedish.
