This item arrived well packaged and in perfect condition - clean, shiny, unmarred, just as a new part should be. It fit perfectly on the motorcycle ( 1984 BMW R100/CS ). The headlight ears did need to be trimmed as described in the listing, but that was easily accomplished with a bandsaw. Hacksaw could be used instead. The only downside to this purchase is that this piece is so nice looking, it makes the rest of the bike really show its age. I am very well pleased with this purchase.
