It appears much sturdier and more utilitarian than the last coffee cup warmer I bought, which failed in less than a year. The only thing is it says in the instructions that it is "strictly forbidden to leak the liquid in the container to the heating surface". This is laughable! The demise of all coffee cup warmers is spilled coffee. It's a matter of how resistant to spills they are. Time will tell. So far so good.
