In the end I received the laptop as advertised, and now have a cheap, lightning fast laptop for study, research and writing documents. The seller is very friendly and helpful as I interacted with them a lot. However, the entire process took two weeks to complete. The first laptop I received did not match the spec on the invoice and had a password protected bios system. I raised these issues and I'm very happy with the 2nd laptop I got.

I now realise that somewhere in the description it did mention that the item may be one of many branded makes. Only slight issue I have is a rather noisy CPU cooling fan, but at this price point, I can put up with it or can afford to replace it (I've chosen the latter). Overall, I'm very pleased with both the PC and seller.
